El Charro in Neosho

So glad I had time for a sit down lunch here! I had the most delightful server!!! The food was amazing, as usual!!

Eduardo was amazing, my kids loved him! And the food was great!

Best place for Mexican food in Neosho! Easy to see right off of Lusk Drive servicing the downtown Neosho area. Plenty of parking and a wheel chair accessible entrance. Clean facilities. Public Restrooms. Hospitable Staff. Inside a Shopping Center. Reasonably priced. We will definitely be going back.

Service was very fast for a Sunday evening. Complimentary chips were homemade and very fresh. Ordered a combination #8. Nothing special. Ground beef was very pasty like. Had little flavor. It is very inexpensive. The combo and a coke was $10. I will not repeat.

Experience was exactly how you would think it would go for a restaurant in a shopping center.

Stopped for lunch and found a tasty good value. It wasn't heavy like some places can be, but it was satisfying.

Wife waited an unreasonable amount of time for cold food. Help was rude. This place has gone down hill in a hurry. Used to love going here, from now on we will be going to Maria's.

They sat us at a table next to smokers with 5 kids at our table. One being a one year old. And, one having asthma. Took our drink order. Took 5 minutes to get the chips and salsa another 5 minutes to get our drinks. When they brought 5 of the drinks out the last drink order was placed. Took 15 minutes to get her drink. We then placed our food order... Took over 1 hour to get 6 plates. Wasnt hot when it got to our table. The plates weren't even warm. The beef on the burrito, nachos, and taco smelled and tasted like canned dog food. The childs taco plate was supposed to have fries, they brought it out with rice and beans. Kindly asked them to fix it and they never came back to the table. Will not go back to this El Charro.

The waiters were very nice, and the place was clean. But the food was overpriced, bland, and took way too long to cook, even for fresh food. Rather disappointing.

Was seated for 30 minutes, we received chips and salsa promptly. However, no one... NO ONE! Came by to take our drink order. So after our 30 minutes of waiting for our drink order another couple came in and were immediately waited upon. Service is great ... At Denny's across the parking lot!

1st time here and we were pleased with service and food. Wife had beef fajitas that she enjoyed, daughter thought the jalicso was really good and I liked the enchiladas with shrimp, crab and cheese were good. Prices were good for serving size.

The chips here are the bomb! Thin and fresh. Our fajitas were excellent.

Food has no flavor and the service was ehhh mediocre. Margaritas were stout but no flavor other than cheap tequila

Visited on a Sunday night. Literally the ONLY customer. Wait staff was sitting around in booths, or watching TV. I eventually sat myself at the bar. It was a solid 10 minutes before anyone offered me a drink. Chips and Salsa soon followed. Quite tasty. I managed to get an order in, and it was quite good, but extremely small portions. I watched the multiple people mix drinks. Daiquiris and margaritas, barely any alcohol at all. I had to ask for my check multiple times. Nearly left without paying. Then when I got the bill, they tried to charge for extra beer. STAY away from this place.

Was so good, food and service nothing bad to say. Definitely my new favorite Mexican Restaurant.

El Charro always has quality Mexican food at a great price. Their salsa is seriously among my all-time favorites.

It was not a busy night and we waited 12min to get our drink order taken, another 6-7min to get our food order taken, 45min to receive food, never got our drinks refilled was asked once if everything was okay and we said no we're missing part of our order-still have not received it, and had to wait at the counter to get someone's attention to get a to go box and the check.

Ate here many times I've loved every bite

Service was ok... food was ok.... order side guacamole and queso. Guacamole was not very good and I order a small bowel. When I asked for them to take it off the bill they said there’s no way for them to do that. Lady said oh you are more then half... I’m no I didn’t there was a small bowel and the rest is another bowel. She said I would have to pay for it. I told her that they didn’t value there customers and it was very low of them to not honor what I requested. I will never come back again. I will also tell family and friends to avoid coming here.

Ok so I mean they totally have the advantage by being one of the very few sit down eats in the tiny town of Neosho but dangggg. The quesadilla chilanga is amaaaaaazing! Try it! You wont be disappointed.

I’ve been here a couple times and both times their service was pretty slow. Like 30 min wait. The last time I went we ordered and then we finally got our chips and salsa after 20 mins. We ate them then our food came 10 mins later and our drinks still hadn’t been served. We asked for more chips to have with our nachos. And when we got the bill they charged us $3 for another basket of chips. Usually they’re unlimited and considering it took so long to even get waters I can’t say I’m not disappointed.

Service is great. You receive your order fairly quickly. Food is great.

It's meh. Not to great but ok.

Was my first time there. Waited about an hour for nachos. Waiter hardly checked on us. Had the fajita nachos and waiter didnt give us napkins or forks. After getting food waiter came back once the bf was done with his and i was finally able to ask. Good taste but the meat came out cold. Wont be going back

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Neosho. The salsa is inconsistent, but always tastes great. My favorite meal is the Cheese chicken.
